Junior & Open Brahman Shows - December 2-3, 2023

ENTRIES OPEN October 1, 2023 - ENTER USING SHOWMAN.APP

ENTRIES CLOSE November 15th. Late entries accepted at double cost until November 25th.

Our Association is growing and our Junior members are a dynamic group of young people who represent our FUTURE! Our Juniors host this show, organizing both the Junior show and the Open show with some help of our adult EBBA members. Our OPEN show is an ABBA recognized points show.

Schedule of Events

Friday, December 1, 2023:

1 PM - 6 PM: Check-in for the Junior and Open Shows. Saturday check-in available for Sunday's Open Show, upon request.
5 PM - 6PM: Color Classification Check-in
6:30 PM: Sales Talk contest
10 minutes after conclusion of Sales Talk: Herdsman Interview contest
7 PM - 7:30 PM Grab and Go Meal provided for all exhibitors
7 PM - 8 PM: Open arena for exhibitor practice

Saturday, December 2, 2023:

8 AM: PeeWee Showmanship Invitational
Immediately after PeeWee Showmanship: Showmanship Classes, showing youngest to oldest (Novice, Junior, Senior, Champion Showman Drive, Adult)
Fifteen minutes after conclusion of Showmanship: Junior Bull Show begins (Red Bulls, followed by Gray Bulls)
Immediately following the bull show: 30-40 minute lunch break, at the judge's discretion
Immediately following lunch: Junior Heifer Show begins (Red Heifers, followed by Gray Heifers)
30 minutes after conclusion of Junior Heifer Show: Quiz Bowl Tournament begins
5 PM: Judging contest begins
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: Junior Awards and Scholarship presentation - Christmas Banquet meal hosted by Hog Heaven BBQ.
7:30 PM - 8:00 PM EBBA Annual Membership Meeting

Sunday, December 3, 2023:

7:30 AM - 8:30 AM: Breakfast of Champions (everyone is a champion!)
9:15 AM: ABBA Approved Open Show begins with the group classes
Fifteen minutes after conclusion of group classes: Open Bull Show begins (Grays then Reds)
Immediately following the Open Bull Show: 30-40 minute lunch break, at the judge's discretion
Immediately following lunch: Open Heifer Show begins (Grays then Reds)
Fifteen minutes after conclusion of ABBA Open Show: Commercial Brahman-Influenced Show
